Julian Assange once again makes me think he’s a brilliant man. The original essay mentioned in the article, too, is a thing of beauty, analyzing authoritarian (and terrorist) power as a function of how well they can communicate in secret. Leaks hurt authoritarian governments more than open ones.
Perhaps our country is feeling hurt by these latest leaks because of that.
